The CritiPack® Needle Chest Decompression Kit from Be Safe Paramedical South Africa is designed to provide rapid and reliable relief of suspected tension pneumothorax in prehospital and tactical environments. Standard intravenous cannulas are often too short or prone to kinking, risking ineffective decompression. This kit includes a purpose-built 14G 8.2 cm (3.25”) CritiCare® Decompression Needle, specifically designed to penetrate the pleural space safely and effectively—even in patients with a thicker chest wall.

Every component is packaged in a sterile, field-ready pouch and includes the necessary disposables to perform needle thoracostomy with improved control and confidence.
